One of the most important reasons for getting married in Cornwall is the scenery and at a Sands reception you get views of the Atlantic to the West and the countryside to the East.

Come and visit our hotel to discuss your wedding plans so that we can show you our rooms and offer you a detailed quotation.

We have a variety of rooms suitable for up to 130 guests and our Beachcomber reception suite has superb sea views.

Your reception at Sands will include:

Wedding menu

The menu for your wedding day will be tailored to you and your guests. A few examples can be found on our menu page. Whatever your choice you can be safe in knowing that we only use fresh ingredients and do not precook food for convenience.

Sands also has the county's most reasonably priced wine list with a range of quality wines that won't sting your pocket.

Wedding party

After your meal you may choose to end the evening with a party and we will be pleased to arrange the entertainment of your choice including disco, dance Bands and casino evenings with drinks served from our new 'Beachcomber Bar'.

Music for your Wedding party

Children at your wedding

Children can often be a dilemma at weddings especially for those travelling long distances with their families. At Sands we have a range of award winning childcare facilities and can offer services such as baby listening, crèche and organised parties to ensure they have fun and you can relax.

Wedding guests staying over night

The hotel has sea or country view rooms for your guests and also offers the use of the extensive sports and leisure facilities. Special rates may be apply for large groups or extended stays.(Short stay rooms may be limited)
